PESCHICI

The beauty of  Peschici’s sea has been rewarded  with the Blue Flag, a warranty of  cleanliness of waters and of the beach. The sea floors around Peschici are clear, suitable for per la underwater fishing and for snorkeling.

Take a walk of the old town, a labyrinth of little streets, stairs and the white arabesque houses wich tell about a simple and fashinating past, visit the Baronal Castle dungeons. During the summertime many free events are organized. Like the Peschici Jazz, a musical event with international guests.
TREMITI ISLANDS

Tremiti Islands archipelago is a natural paradise made of four islands: San Domino, San Nicola, Capraia e Pianosa.
In this enchanting place waters are translucent and turquoise, many sea caves and coves can be visited by small boats tour.
SEA GROTTOES

The best way to enjoy the beauty of the Gargano coast is to spend a day in a boat trip visiting the enchanting sea Grottoes.
From Peschici, throught Vieste and Mattinata you will discover 40 km of the coast by a vantage point: high white cliffs, fantastic natural arches, falesies and beautiful beaches and some particular caves. The most famous have curious names like the Smuggler Cave, the Bell cave and the Mermeid Cave.
SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO

San Giovanni Rotondo is one of the most important pilgrimage destination, to visit the Sanctuary of San Pio. The new church designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano conserves San Pio’s rests, who lived for over 50 years in Capuchin convent. During the itinerary it’s also possible to visit the oldest Church and the places where the saint lived.

MONTE SANT’ANGELO

 Monte Sant’Angelo is one of the most important pilgrimage site for the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo, one of the oldest of the christianity, word Unesco site.
Here in AD 490 St Michael the Archangel appeared in the Grotto under the church, with the instructions to build the sanctuary. Visit he old city center, with its characteristic medieval quarters, and the high position on Manfredonia’s gulf.
UMBRA FOREST RESERVE

Visiting the Umbra Forest is a unique and suggestive experience: nature lovers will enjoy the many naturalistic paths and different animal species in the protected area of the Gargano National Park. The forest hosts Centuries-old turkey oaks and beechwoods, birds species, wild boars and deers. Take the chance to discover unique places during your holiday in the Gargano.
